Receiving around the clock care from his parents and care team, Peter and his family needed support to help make their home more accessible. Working alongside architects, France + Associates, the project involved transforming a beautiful farmhouse and barn into a new accessible home for Peter, his parents and carers.
As part of the internal works, Innova Care Concepts were brought in for their hoisting expertise, creating a design and installation that enabled Peter to easily move between his master bedroom and bespoke bathroom. Utilising the flexibility of the AirGlide360 system, Innova installed an X-Y configuration in Peter’s bedroom and bathroom. This allowed maximum room coverage in each room, giving Peter greater independence and making transfers easier for his parent and carers.
To make transfers between his bedroom and bathroom as smooth and easy as possible, Innova also incorporated our innovative AirGlide360 transit couplings, which use a clever blend of magnets and sensors to ensure a secure connection when moving between systems.
