Bolton Hospice, dedicated to providing compassionate care for those with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, embarked on a project to expand their services by creating a new ‘Wellbeing Hub’. This initiative aimed to meet the growing demand for specialist palliative care and offer a broader range of support, including mindfulness and yoga sessions.
Innova Care Concepts was brought on board to transform the space, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics. Our team designed and furnished the hub with over 80 pieces of bespoke furniture, including custom-made recliner chairs and a retail unit for a relaxing café area. Despite challenges from Covid-19 delays, we delivered a modern and calming environment that enhances the hospice’s ability to provide diverse and flexible care services.
Colleen Kyne-Daly from Bolton Hospice praised the new facility, highlighting its design and functionality as key to enriching patient and family experiences at the hospice.
“It gives me great pleasure to share with you our new inpatient facility. We all love the design, furniture and the colour scheme is amazing. On behalf of everyone at the Hospice, thank you.”
