Overview

St Benedict’s Hospice, a specialist centre for palliative care in Sunderland, faced a significant challenge in equipping their new 12-bed in-patient unit and day centre within a tight timescale. With a £200,000 budget, the team needed to have all the necessary equipment in place and operational for the facility’s opening. To streamline the process and maintain consistent design and décor, they sought a single supplier to deliver a comprehensive solution.

Our team stepped in to meet this challenge by providing a complete range of specialist equipment tailored to the hospice’s requirements. We worked closely with the contractor, architect, and client, ensuring that all aspects of the project were meticulously covered. By offering a holistic design package, we facilitated the seamless integration of equipment, aligning with the project’s tight deadlines and budget constraints.

Client Quote(s)

“Knowledge of the products and equipment was second to none and the advice and support we have received has been outstanding. Communication throughout has been regular both face to face, via email and telephone. Nothing has been a problem at all and the whole process from that first visit, through to ordering, delivery and after sales service over the past 9 months has been superb. The service is both individual and personal. The Innova team from day one completely understood our philosophy and what we were trying to achieve for the building and the environment in order that the patient experience was a positive one.

During the 9 months we as a clinical team have been involved and worked closely with Innova, who at every step of the project have facilitated our requests (which have been considerable) with patience, diplomacy and a calm professional approach. This has helped us to achieve in partnership with yourselves a fantastic, exceptional environment to deliver services to our local population. We know we are the envy of our colleagues nationally.

We would highly recommend working with Innova to anyone working in healthcare.”
