Overview

Thames Hospice, renowned for over 30 years of providing exceptional palliative and end-of-life care, embarked on a significant expansion with a new £22 million facility at Bray Lake. To furnish this state-of-the-art hospice, they turned to Innova Care Concepts for their expertise in interior design. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Innova successfully supplied and installed over 400 pieces of loose furniture, ensuring that the décor was both stylish and conducive to infection prevention.

The new hospice, featuring private inpatient rooms, a day therapy suite, and communal areas like a café and shop, required furniture that balanced aesthetics with functionality. Innova provided a range of high back chairs, rise and recline chairs, and other furnishings, all with antimicrobial finishes to support the hospice’s infection control protocols. Through close collaboration and problem-solving, Innova helped Thames Hospice open their new facility on schedule, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
