About this CPD:
This CPD provides an insight into how to put together a strong justification report for a client to have hydrotherapy at home. Using recent cases, the CPD covers different considerations including evidence of past benefits to the client and cost analysis, to help case managers build a justification report for their clients to have a home hydrotherapy pool. Attendees will also learn about the importance of specifying the right pool equipment for their client’s needs, and see examples of individuals who have benefitted from aquatic physiotherapy.

This CPD provides an overview of what Changing Places are and their importance to people with disabilities across the UK, the latest regulations and building regulations that need to be considered and the specialist equipment that is required for a facility to be compliant.
It will also cover a review of the design and planning process, considerations needed for different venues, tips for creating a business case and assessing the option of installing a modular Changing Places facility. Example layouts and case studies of projects that Innova have completed will also be discussed, accompanied by a Q&As session towards the end of the event.
